Mission

As a division of the City Managers office, the goal of Community Affairs is to utilize Public Information, Neighborhood Services and Community Relations/Community Access Television (CAT) to Communicate with the Oxnard community.

Objectives

• To communicate to City's residents by utilizing the local media, neighborhood councils and the City's government access television.
• To encompass the goals and objectives of Public Information, Neighborhood Services and Community Relations/CAT.
• To facilitate the Inter-Neighborhood Council Forum (INCF) and the Commission on Community Relations (CCR), the division's community groups.
