Second Fire in Vacant Oxnard Structure in a Month
For the second time in a month Oxnard Firefighters have been called to battle a blaze at the same vacant commercial structure in the Wagonwheel area of town.
Twenty firefighters, representing four engines, a truck company, a rescue unit and Battalion Chiefs from Oxnard and Ventura County Fire Department responded to the call at 0614 hours this morning. The fire at 2615 Underpass Road was knocked down within 15 minutes. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to a single occupancy.
Oxnard Fire Investigators are on scene, working to determine the cause and loss amounts.
There are no injuries.
