City of Oxnard |
| WHERE: |
Oxnard Performing Arts and Convention Center 800 Hobson Way Oxnard, CA 93030 |
| WHY: |
A combination of pumping restrictions in the San Joaquin/Sacramento River Delta, over drafted aquifers, and 3 years of drier than average conditions have made water conservation a way of life in Oxnard. By educating our community’s youth about the importance of water in a fun and interactive way, the Water Resources Division aims to inspire a new generation of water supply stewards. |
